Kitchen Fitters
Does your Kitchen Fitter ... cut the mustard?
What differentiates a good Kitchen Fitter from a bad Kitchen Fitter?
The following questions are worth dropping into the conversation:
1 ... Roughly how many kitchens do you fit a year? (A good kitchen fitter will fit between 30 & 40 kitchens per year - Any more than that and he's "throwing them in" - Any less ... well he's hardly busy)
2 ... Can we go and see the last kitchen you fitted? (This will be no problem if he is a good kitchen fitter, and it would be interesting to get a good look at his standard of work)
3 ... Can I see a copy of your Public Liability Insurance, Gas Safe Register Card, and Part P Accreditation before you start? (If the answer is anything other than yes - look for someone else)
4 ... How long do you guarantee your work for? (It should be at least 12 months)
5 ... Can you give me a "schedule of the work" before starting? (A good kitchen fitter will be able to prepare a daily schedule ... and stick to it)
